Wall Decor: Painted Bike

Perfect for home or garden, each painted bike is approximately 14.25" x 10.5" x 0.5" and hand-chiseled out of recycled steel oil drums by Haitian artisans. They use techniques first developed by Georges Liautaud in the late 1950s when he chalked out his first design on a flattened steel oil drum and then cut it out by hand with a mallet and chisel. As each piece is handmade, their final dimensions and finish may vary slightly.
