Mesa Boogie Pre Amp (vintage) Jorma Kaukonen Peronal Collection

This Mesa Boogie Studio Preamp was used in the 1990 Hot Tuna Pair of Dice Found Tour. The pre amp sat in a rack mount and traveled by bus from gig to gig... after that never to be used on another tour. It still works and just had a check up at the amp doctor. The cool thing about these pre amps is they are known for delivering just the right tone and Hot Tuna Electric in the 90's was all about that! The front panel features a 5-band graphic equalizer for precise tone shaping, along side knobs for volume, master, bass, middle and reverb. It was paired along side his Mesa Boogie Simul-Class 295 and the Steroe 400 that live in the home of another musician.
