We won't lie, these boots have been worn but they've been lovingly worn by Jorma Kaukonen. He wore them because he loved everything about them. These boots were gifted to Jorma by two sons of a wealthy middle eastern oil tycoon that were sent to the US to sow their wild oats before it was time to come home and work for the family business. That was the story they told so that's all we knew, (who knows how true it is) but I can attest...sow their wild oats they did.
